Networking Associates of Bucks is a group of local business owners working together helping each other grow their business. We meet every Tuesday at the Waterwheel Tavern at noon for an hour meeting where we discuss business topics and pass business leads to each other. Every week a different member or will present a business tip that has helped their business - and could help your business as well!

Jim Brassard has been in the life and disability insurance industry since 1982. He started as a brokerage representative with a nationally known insurance carrier. Jim was promoted to Senior Brokerage Representative and continued to design, train and underwrite the sales of these products . Jim has authored several industry articles regarding disability and life insurance and is a frequent speaker at industry meetings.
Jim opened his agency in 1994 to better meet the needs of his clients and the changes taking place in the insurance industry. “We felt that we needed to become more independent of the insurance companies, choosing which companies could excel in products, pricing and service for our clients. The days of selling only one company’s products to all our clients are over. We advise our clients on products that meet their needs.”

It was the summer of 1979 when owner, Richele Brisbon, made her first wedding cake. Ever since, she has known that her passion for baking would someday be her business. When Richele graduated from the JNA Institute ofCulinary Arts in Philadelphia in 2006, she started planning her business. Being in the hairdressing business for 50 years and owning LAD and Company in the center of Doylestown for 40 years, my background has extensive technical training in the field of cosmetology. I have had 25 years of training under Martin Parsons who specializes in long hair and has allowed me to specialize as well.
My leisure hours are spent at Town and Country Players, designing wigs and makeup as well as special effects and wardrobing. I hold the board position of VP of Hospitality and I work to coordinate many aspects of theater maintenance as part of the Buildings and Grounds Committee.
I have worked tirelessly for years on the Destination Doylestown community service projects as well. I participate yearly as Lady Liberty in the Memorial Day parade and festivities along with Uncle Sam. I also worked on Christmas in Doylestown for many years.
With great pleasure, I sit on the fundraising board at the Mercer Museum and participate in many community functions there.
Recently, I have joined the Pride Community of Doylestown. I have worked on several events with that wonderful group.
